While holding the tab, remove the filter assembly from the dirt cup. To disassemble for a through-part cleaning, firmly grasp filter mounting tab with one hand and mesh filter frame with the other. Turn the tab to the left (without notice clockwise) to unlock from the mesh filter frame. To reassemble the filter, insert the pleated filter into the mesh filter frame. While firmly holding the mesh filter frame, turn the tab to the right (clockwise) to see the pieces together.
Note: You can rinse the filter and frame in warm water to clean. Filter and frame must be 100% dry before reuse. The key to maximum performance is having a clean filter. Cleaning the filter after every use will help your vacuum cleaner to work at peak efficiency.
