My wife and I can tell a huge difference in the smells and tastes in our fridge with this filter. One piece of advice: replace these based on your own preferences, not the timer on your refrigerator. Your fridge is timed to tell you when to replace it, and the reminder light has no bearing on the actual condition of the filter. So when you start to be able to smell everything in your fridge, time to put in a new one!

It's working... I guess. I haven't noticed the quality of the air in my fridge improve but my fridge told me it was time to change the filter and these are cheaper, they come in a 3 pack and seem to be similar quality as the LG brand filters.
