It's exactly what it's supposed to be. Just make sure to run through plenty of water up front to avoid a glass of charcoal-flavored water.

Easy to install. The flow rate is ok and the water taste is good. Use it every day.

Replacement filter for Kenmore refrigerator...works and fits great...at about half the cost...

Bought as a replacement for the WF3CB in our Fridge. Arrived quickly. Installed and have been using for over a week now. Water tastes fine (note that the packaging states removes a lot more contaminants than the old filter we have used). Have found this to be just as good and water and ice have no taste. I made sure the flush with 3 gallons too.

This is a great item if you have limited water pressure, our well water needs no filter and tastes great, but the lower pressure would not allow for a good flow for in the door water plus the ice cubes were small, this was an easy fix for that problem. Thank you.

Packaged well, arrived in perfect condition. We have a reverse osmosis water system plumbed into the refrigerator. The standard filter turned the water cloudy, and impeded the flow. This bypass filter cleaned up the water and improved the flow. I'm impressed.
