I live in a place with pretty good water from the tap, so I couldn't really tell a difference in taste over previous filters. It lasted as long as others with a good water flow throughout its life. It is just much expensive.

It is the one that I recommend for all of you who needs whirlpool filter and there have not been any problems. It is a bit more expensive but worth it. It fits well and easy to install.

Great EDR4RXD1 replacement filter for our Whirlpool fridge. We didn't have any problems with the installation, and water was clear after following flushing instructions. My only complaint is the cost- we can find other brands at less than half the price, although I'm hesitant to risk using no-name brands on a relatively new refrigerator!

Fits and works. No drips. A bit of an overkill for us as we have very pure well water that is tested annually - it's just like rainwater with miniscule minerals. But might as well be extra safe. Using this brand is a bit on the expensive side.

Before buying this filter 4 replacement, I think 'Nothing like the OEM filter for taste and purity'. I try this filter and it works the same. You may pay a lot on Clatterans, but you get a lot.
