Yeah! but this water filter! We had smelly water. The Clatterans replacement for Whirlpool Refrigerator water filter fixed that. Our water tastes better than ever.

This filter is so much better than many of the aftermarket filters. The difference in flow rate from the water dispenser is pronounced!! So much faster. Our water tastes better than ever.

I read the reviews of other water filters and keep thinking the same thing: "Why would I change?" This one keeps up a good flow, filters excellently, and never lets me down. If I try to save a few bucks with a cheaper replacement, I see people complain of flow rate, taste, longevity, or all of the above. You get what you pay for: Just make it easy and buy this one.

Oh, this had me worried - the first hour or so had the fridge moaning and groaning and the water on blast. After letting it get settled overnight everything worked normally - clean & crisp water.
I'll definitely buy this one again when it's time to replace. A quality product worth the extra money.

I have no sophistication on water quality, other than taste, smell and visuals. I replaced the filter in our KitchenAid fridge, the replaced filter was "way past due". The ice showed improvement within 2-3 cycles, with cubes looking much clearer. Also, at the end of an iced beverage, there was no mineral residue in the bottom of the glass. I put "fridge filter replace" in my calendar for 9-months based upon an initial estimate of our water quality and usage.

This appears to be among the best of the refrigerator filters. According to the package, it filters more bad stuff than most others claim. It's all a matter of trust though. No leaks. Water tastes good. Almost pretty.

Wonderful water filter. I hadn't changed my water filter since I purchased the refrigerator back in 2018. I know, crazy.
I'm not a water drinker and my wife drinks bottled water. I had noticed that the ice had an after taste. I thought it was from the food in the fridge. It wasn't until I started reading about the bacteria or metals in the water that could cause bodily harm.
After doing a lot of reading and comparison shopping on water filters, I found the perfect filter here on Clatterans. Within several days, I tasted a noticeable difference in my ice. It no longer had that after taste or smell. I am very pleased and healthier. Great filter and the price is just right.
